This is my journey back to Liverpool since i left in 2005. Excited really to see the what happen in that Scouse land. And look forward to hear the Scouse accent again.

@ Swansea train station, unfortunately somewhere between Cardiff and Swansea flooded. Then we need to take provided bus from here. That mean i will late one hour then.

What i can say it worth if you into those kind of scenic places,and am into it. Honestly this place is very very big and more to explore really.

From google maps, 5 reservoirs and connected each others :)

those stones indicated the location of villages before this dam project completed in 1893, its 100years plus already

My advice if you which to get proper view of this firework especially to include the London Eye in your frame (unfortunately i can get to the spot i want), make sure you at that place as early as 7pm before the security will those dedicated areas stage by stage. Once each zone full with people they will close that area from any access in or out. At this time am thinking how wonderful if am in Malaysia for sort of this fireworks, no need to stand in the freezing cold night (it was about 0’C), no need to pee on the wall (lol), no need for the long queue for toilet etc etc. Though it’s such a good experiences winks…..so many things to look by our own eyes …winks.

At the moment i uploading this entry the ABBA song was in the air again after ages i didn't tune on it, such a refreshing my mood to update some pictures taken before. So here i come again after don’t know what to share about though in my collection honestly some decent pictures in there.

After passed the immigration officer i bought a ticket to Paddington from Hearthrow Airport (the busiest airport in the world, still its ?).I arrived there early as 7 in the morning, but the train ticket to Swansea fucking expensive 100pounds to get here, so i had to wait the same train but at 9am and the price was 40pounds. I need student rail card soon to get best price i can ,for sure i will back to London to visit friends there or maybe go back to Liverpool if i can.

That the only 2 pictures i can share at Paddington right now. Soon i will update about Swansea and Rhosilli ( I will back there for sunset in summer time – hope i can do it).

Why i said so? because on the way to Batu Feringgi beach, butterfly farm and spice garden we will pass by this toy museum. So come and see by yourself. The most convenient trip down to Kuala Lumpur from Bukit Mertajam or Butterworth for me is by the train, Express Langkawi to exact. Took the train at quarter past nine in the night and we will be arrived in Kuala Lumpur next day at 6 in the morning.

Due to Selsema Babi a.k.a H1N1 better am wearing this mask, a good precaution especially in the train coach and public area as well.

Explore Malaysia

Such a good time to taste this Maggi Hot Cup. Actually i don’t know what to have that time, and i saw a group of students having that, so i want that too.

Most of the passenger stop the the last station before, if am not mistaken Kampar, Perak, perhaps they are Utar’s students.

Fortunately, due of not so many passenger on board right now, i and other passengers can conquer this coach until am reached to Bukit Mertajam train station at 4.30am. I LOVE TO TRAVEL WITH TRAIN, don’t why…hmmm thinking……..

Time for the strawberry farm. It’s more than 10 big strawberry farms if am not mistaken we can find along the way from Kg. Raya up to Brinchang, just choose which one the most in your heart.

Cameron Highland – Part One

The journey from Butterworth to Cameron Highland is about 3-4 hours which is depend on your driving skill and the weather conditions. Luckily we have have friend there, so no need the accommodation. Thanks to Edy for the hospitality for 2 days also thanks being as our tourist guide until the top of the Cameron Highland.

The above picture taken somewhere at the beach in Teluk Kumbar, that time there was a Pesta Makan Durian.Had to pay RM10 per person and can eat as many as we can, but bare in mind we can’t take it home. Pity me my tank quite small so i had only 2 durians, honestly its really nice though i had only 2 durian that day. So its worth RM10 for 2 durians?hu hu

Unesco World Heritage City

Yesterday 25th July 2009 is the 1st anniversary for Georgetown as a UNESCO World Heritage City. I had a chanced to have a walk through of each of world heritage site in Georgetown.

before the journey, better we buy the “passport” so we didn't miss the important places to have a look. Also don't forget to get the special stamp at each heritage sites as indicated on the map in the passport.

So let enjoy those pictures taken along the journey.

Baba Nyonya’s community performing their song and dance. Penang is one of the important places for Baba Nyonya beside Malacca & Singapore. They are mixed races between Chinese and the local peoples such as Batak, Malay, Jawa, Bugis and etc (correct me if am wrong for this). So look how they dressing out and the way the talk, honestly its just not that have some more characters for this community.

Luckly after we arrived here about an hour, the hazy gone from the island and brought the nice blue sky, am so happy for that. If not for sure no blue sky on the pictures taken.

The only buskers-street performer in Penang perhaps, i think this fella not a local, i said so because from the shape of his high cheek bone, the face shape and his chin for sure he is not a local man .. he he…

The last place i been to get the special stamp is Syed Alatas Mansion ( Penang Islamic Museum).

There was traditional dancer performing zapin, joget and the another traditional dancing which is am not sure myself. Thanks for that and i really enjoyed listening and watching the traditional stuffs like that, because we have to know what is the special things about our own root.

A Night Escape to Langkawi

Huh..what a rushed journey with my mate Azim. Actually am really looking for this moment,unfortunately quite a few times a missed that opportunity. Finally the moment come just infront of me. Without any doubt with the escape clause i created, i said Yes For Langkawi when Azim asked me for an accompany….lol. Thank once again Azim, btw i my mind that time “ i dont want to pay any to you,because i know much and what u will get from this trip”….ha ha because i know that.

had a light lunch at Kuala Perlis, i thought Laksa Kuala Perlis is something different than the Penang Laksa but its not.

what the best about that laksa…..a stone egg…ha ha

next morning, without had a shower we a head to the pool……

and kabushhhhhhh……………in the cold water….at 1st i felt its really cold….and not after my body got used to new temperature.

then time to leave Langkawi, and at this jetty i met one of my ex technician (can say that though not in the same department but we in the same division)…sorry cause i didn't recognised, i will check with my ex office mate Pua or Lin…….what a glam day i met more then 2 ex company mates at this jetty.

Thanks to my ex office mate Pawie @ Ahmad Syafawi for the treat at Big Apple @ Jusco AU, KL. Sorry la sebab aku memang nak kacau hang hari tu, terpaksa hang curik keluaq pejabat..he he…thanks man for that, btw that the only precious time we can meet up. I don't myself when we can meet again.This is the second time i met Pawie again after the 1st time was at Carrefour Seberang Jaya before last Raya. We used to work in the same company in 2001, its really ages ago man we didnt meet after i been away for my study.

River Is Life : Day 3 (Final Part) – Jeti Sungai Pinang

adik adik semua….nak ke mandi kat sini?……….he he Sungai Pinang dah tercemar adik adik sekalian….so kita kena sayangi sungai kita ok……try to keep our rivers is clean for next generation okay

After we had the good session climbed up to the prohibited waterfall, we had a simple lunch at the Botanical Garden, just a walking distance only because the Loji Air Terjun (water plant) PBA just next to each others.

starving faces….very hot and sunny day…..am sweating all over….and they all as well. That why easily got tired.

River Is Life : Day 3 (Part 1) – The Prohibited Waterfall

The Oranges in the move on the third day to Botanical Garden, not to learn about the botanic things but to show the hidden things which is prohibited to public. Glad because of our program, we are welcome to see and learn something about Sg. Pinang Waterfall. The original source of polluted Sg. Pinang.

The oldest reservoir in Malaysia…since….sigh i didnt remember…sorry

we are the last group went up to the top…..huhu

and finally…..the hidden waterfall in the heart of Penang Island

The Lampam Jawa are using as the indicator for cleanness of the water ie the raw water and treated water. This fish very sensitive to the water quality.

and dont forget to sign the guest book okay…..its hardly to get back to this place again….we have to wait when they will open for special day only……for sure we have to wait our turn if we come on that special day.

and before we leavinng the Waterfall Plant, the group photo is a must. Wink wink…..will be more picture during lunch time at Botanical Garden. Honestly am slightly tired after the climb up to the waterfall………c ya for the next entry ya……
